Hi, I'm Gavin Cotter, the owner of Urban Oasis Outdoor Living. My love for the outdoors began at a young age. When I was 10, I started helping our elderly neighbors with their lawn care needs, and that sparked my passion for landscaping. Driven by ambition, I founded Cotter’s Cutting, starting with just seven lawns within walking distance. As I got older and was able to drive, my dad and I built my first trailer, which gave me the freedom to expand my lawn care and property management business across Sioux Falls.

After nine years in the lawn care industry, I made the transition into project-based work, sold Cotter’s Cutting, and rebranded under the name Urban Oasis Outdoor Living. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of complex residential and commercial projects. I find great satisfaction in bringing my clients' visions to life and creating something unique for each space.
